Kailey Registered Veterinary Technician / Companion Animal Physical Rehabilitator

I am a Companion Animal Physical Rehabilitator with a lifelong passion for working with animals. From a young age, I always knew I wanted a career where I could make a difference in their lives. My journey into this field began when my sister introduced me to the career path, and I quickly fell in love with the idea of helping animals heal and thrive.

Two years into my studies at the university of Guelph Ridgetown campus, I was introduced to both physical rehabilitation and wildlife rehabilitation, which deepened my interest and solidified my direction. I continued my education at Northern College, where I completed an additional two years to earn my certification in companion animal physical rehabilitation and wildlife rehabilitation.

At home, I have a cat named Sampson, who means the world to me and reminds me every day why I chose this path. My goal is to help every animal live a full, comfortable life with as little pain as possible. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing an animal regain mobility and happiness, and watching families be reunited with their beloved companions through care, patience, and a little extra TLC.
