When I was growing up my family always had golden retrievers, which nurtured my love for animals from an early age. I went on to attend the University of Guelph, where I majored in Animal Biology and minored in Molecular Biology and Genetics. During the final years of my undergrad, I made the decision to volunteer to raise a service dog named Maverick. To this day, this was the most rewarding experience of my life and was the moment I truly fell in love with the idea of working with animals.
After moving back to London, I worked primarily customer service roles, while also pursuing pet-sitting on the side. From the moment I started at Sears, I knew that I was so lucky to join this incredible team. Getting to connect with people and their pets on a daily basis is everything I could have ever hoped for in a job, and I’m so happy I get to do it here at Sears. I’m so excited to continue to meet more wonderful people and their furry family members.
At home, I have a goofy 12-year-old golden named Ozzie. When I’m away from work I love spending quality time with friends and family, listening to music, and working on the occasional crochet project.
