Product Orders

Sometimes we do not have the product you need in stock, but we have the ability to order it in within 24-48 business' hours (weather and courier dependent). When in need of a drug or food refill, we ask you call or email in with the name, size and amount of the food, treat, drug or item you need and give us 48hrs to have it approved, ordered and received.

All prescription medications are required to be reviewed and approved by our veterinarians. This can occasionally be delayed and we ask you call in drug orders before you have a couple days left of medication to ensure we can get it approved, ordered and received in time.

We often order medications from compounding pharmacies. These pharmacies allow us to make up medications in different formats or strengths not commonly available commercially. These products can take up to two weeks to order and receive and we ask that you order accordingly as we rarely stock these product. To make them easy to identify, these medications have "(C)" at the beginning of their descriptions. Pre-payment may be required.

Medications once they leave the clinic can not be refunded due to regulations around handling and storage of pharmaceuticals. Some medications are special order items and you may be required to purchase the full quantity ahead of time and some may remain following the end of treatment. We will inform you if this will occur.

  • 4Dx Heartworm screens can be done every other year with a signed waiver outlining the associated risks.
  • Medication for thyroid conditions require regular bloodwork to dispense medication dependent on the patient's condition.
  • Some medications (like NSAIDs) require regular bloodwork (every 6-12 months) to ensure that it is not harming the patient.

Missed Appointments

We understand things do not always go as planed. We want to ensure we have the ability to see pets in need as soon as possible. When an appointment is missed and we are not informed, this is considered a "No Call, No Show". If there are two "No Call, No Shows", then a non-refundable deposit equaling the cost of the exam fee or service being preformed that day is required at time of booking. The deposit will then be used and paid against your visit at the time of the appointment. Please call or email if you need to change your appointment.
