What does the surgical process include?

If you cannot drop your pet off on the morning of their procedure, we can arrange for your pet to spend the night before at our hospital. If the surgery requires anesthesia, we’ll review your pet’s pre-anesthesia bloodwork to decide which medication is the right fit. We administer general anesthesia via IV fluids. A team of experienced registered veterinary technicians and veterinarians will perform the procedure, consistently monitoring your pet’s blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, respiratory rate and depth of anesthetic. After the surgery, we use laser therapy to reduce pain and speed up the healing process. If you have questions about your pet’s upcoming surgical procedure, please contact us at 519-661-0496.
