Veterinary Exam

Pets are living longer than ever, which means it’s important to keep up with any health changes at their different life stages. For adult pets, we typically recommend visiting us at least once a year. For puppies, kittens, senior pets and pets with underlying health issues, we would like to see them more often. To schedule your pet’s next visit, please contact us at 519-661-0496.

What’s included in a veterinary exam?

A veterinary exam is a comprehensive look at your pet’s overall health. Our veterinarians spend a minimum of 30 minutes with each pet. We examine every part of your pet, from head to paw, to determine a general sense of their health, including any underlying health issues that may need to be addressed. Early diagnosis allows us to determine the best course of action to support your pet’s wellbeing. We’re able to develop a care program based on this information and their unique needs. Their care program could also include:

  • Eye Exam
  • Ear exam
  • Dental Exam
  • Neurological Evaluation
  • Cardiovascular Evaluation
  • Abdominal Palpation
  • Cardiovascular Evaluation
  • Weight & Nutritional Counseling
  • Coat & Skin Evaluation
  • Urogenital Evaluation
  • Musculoskeletal Evaluation
  • Pulmonary/Lung Evaluation
